  • How does the ride work?

Next, we’ll handle a bit of paperwork. This is just to register you and gather some details about you in case we need to address anything during the ride. Don’t worry — it's quick and painless!

Once that’s done, we’ll gear you up with helmets, gloves, and protective eyewear. If you have your own gear and it’s in good condition, do bring it along! We’re all about keeping you safe and stylish.

At ebike North Devon and ebikeTrailTours, we believe that every bike ride is an adventure to cherish. Our promise is simple: we always ride with you, ensuring you’ll never be left behind. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a first-time rider, your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

We keep things inclusive because every journey is better together. Forget about time limits—we ride at your pace! Should you find yourself needing to call it a day, don't worry; it’s all part of the experience! Your enjoyment and well-being are what matter most.

  • Do I need to bring a helmet?

If you have your own helmet that’s in good condition, fits well, and isn’t out of date, feel free to bring it along! We do supply helmets for everyone, plus riding gloves and protective glasses, just in case you encounter any pesky bugs or a cheeky kick-up from a tyre. Safety first, fun second! (Everyone must wear a helmet)

  • What should I wear?

For your eBike trail adventure, opt for track suit bottoms that fit snugly (no loose ones, please—chain encounters are no fun!). If the weather's warm, shorts are a comfy alternative. A pair of trainers that you don’t mind getting muddy will keep your feet happy and ready to pedal through the muck.

A breathable sports T shirt to keep you cool while you ride. Don't forget to layer up with something warmer for those chilly winds or cooler areas like the woods. And if the skies look a bit moody, a lightweight rain jacket will be your best mate, keeping you dry without weighing you down.

Leave the jeans and loose trousers at home; they’ll only get tangled in the chain or cause you discomfort whilst riding if they get wet.

  • What should I bring with me?

You'll need some water to drink along the way—at least a litre per person to keep those hydration levels high while you pedal through the stunning scenery. Don’t forget to pack some snacks to keep your energy topped up; trail mix, energy bars, or even a cheeky chocolate treat will do the trick! ( or Jelly Babies, I love them)

Slather on some suncream to protect your skin from those sneaky UV rays, especially if the sun decides to join your adventure. If you're riding in a group of two or three, bring along a backpack to stash all your essentials in. Sharing the load keeps the ride comfy and adds a bit of camaraderie to your journey.

  • After the ride?

Depending on the weather, you might find yourself covered in mud after an exhilarating ride. It’s wise to bring some spare clothing, socks, and shoes along with a bag or box to stash your muddy gear before you hop back into your car. Don't forget, we’ve got a little changing area at HQ where you can change up, as well as a toilet for your convenience. Stay prepared and keep the good times rolling!
